What Our Students Say
-
"From this class I learn a lot of new things, for example, vocabulary, grammar, writing and speaking. It helps me to improve my speaking. We have a speaking session every week with our phone buddy who lives in the USA. In this class I learn to always have motivation and be hopeful for tomorrow."

"I have a bachelor of Allied Health and I have worked for three years on the National Cancer Control Program at Jamhuriat Public Hospital. After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, all of the women who worked outside were banned from going to work and I was one of them. […] This course saved me from drowning in despair [and] helped me to find myself again. I owe the energy and spirit that I have right now to Dr. Holm."

In this class [...] we don't just learn English, but we talk to each other about different experiences, each other's daily life, happy and sad moments. This class means a lot to all of us girls who have the chance to participate in it.
